Jan Skampa Captures EPT Prague Title in Home Country
It was one of the most popular stops on the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour, and the Hilton Hotel was the location in Prague for the poker event that would draw an astounding number of players to the tournament tables. There were more stops to go in the EPT’s sixth season, but all eyes were on Prague during the first week of December.

Frenchman Christophe Benzimra Takes EPT Warsaw Title
Season 6 of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour was well underway when the EPT made its stop in Warsaw Poland on October 20. Though the registration numbers were sure to be lower than London, Warsaw’s history was still appealing to many, as well as the fact that it was part of the biggest poker tour on European soil each year. So players gathered with their 25,000 PLN currency at the Casinos Poland for the tournament.

EPT London Won by Aaron Gustavson, Peter Eastgate Second
In the third stop of its sixth season, the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour hit London with a series of events that culminated in the £5,000 buy-in main event. While organizers expected a large turnout, they were pleasantly surprised when it became the largest tournament ever to be held in the UK.

Carter Phillips Wins 850K Euros at EPT Barcelona
Barcelona is one of the players’ favorite stops on the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour, and it was the perfect time of the year to make it the second stop on the EPT’s sixth season. The tournament kicked off on September 4 to a crowd that included some of the biggest names in the poker world who traveled from numerous countries to participate in the event.

EPT Kicks Off Season Six with Lykov Winning Kyiv
The European Poker Tour was scheduled to kick off its sixth season in Moscow with its first foray into that part of the world, but when Russia declared poker no longer a sport and casinos closed, the change was made to move the tour stop to Kyiv, Ukraine. The Kyiv Sports Palace was the venue, and players changed their travel plans to visit the Ukraine for the much-anticipated start of the EPT’s new season.
