Amateurs Soar as MiniFTOPS Gets Underway
When Full Tilt Poker started its MiniFTOPS tournaments to accompany FTOPS, the two series ran concurrently, with MiniFTOPS offering a lower buy-in option to each of the FTOPS events at only 1/10th of the cost. But the idea to finally run the MiniFTOPS separately has been a raging success, as many of the FTOPS players also like the low buy-in action as well. And the start of the December 2009 MiniFTOPS is proof positive that the series is wildly popular on its own.

FTOPS XIV - Pham and Mueller Score Wins for FTP Pros
The first ten events of the 14th installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) produced solid fields and winners who were awarded potentially life-changing money, but the Full Tilt Pros were noticeably absent from those final tables. But the next nine events in the series brought them out in force. Steve Zolotow and Julian Gardner both took second place finishes, and Peter Feldman took ninth in a six-handed event but came close to that final table.

The 14th running of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) got underway on November 4 with a no-limit hold’em short-handed event boasting of a $1 million buy-in.
