Top News – Major Poker Tours in Action and Hall of Fame Nominees
So another week of poker is coming to an end and we've got plenty to tell you about. Two of three major poker tournaments taking place this week have already finished and one is still underway. Blair Hinkle is the new WSOP-C Council Bluffs winner, Toby Lewis has taken down EPT Vilamoura and WPT London is in its Day 4 with just 18 players remaining at the tables and Italian PartyPoker.it pro Giovanni Safina leading in chips.

Top News – Zinga Goes Asian, Krause Wins FTP Merit Cyprus Classic
This week in Top News at OnlinePoker10 we will tell you something about online poker and something about the live games. Top News – Habernig Wins LAPT Brazil, Boeree Leaves UB
Last week in poker was full of action – the first major live poker event after the end of the World Series took place in Florianopolis, Brazil and it was Matthias Habernig from Austria who snatched the chip lead at the start of the tournament and held on to it until the end to swoop his first LAPT title and the $250K cash prize.

Top News – Online News Dominates, Cake Poker Cleans Up Mess
All of the news since the end of the World Series of Poker seems to revolve around online poker sites. Last week, the United States finally saw progress with its online gaming regulation legislation in Congress. And not only was there a significant amount of news regarding PokerStars-sponsored live tours, but PokerStars stayed in the news again this week with a number of announcements, like a Season 7 stop in Vienna and some women’s only events online.

Top News – U.S. Online Gaming Regulation and PokerStars Around the World
With the World Series of Poker on hold until November, poker players and fans were able to wind down from the whirlwind summer for a few days before action picked back up. Top News – WSOP Final Table and the London Festival
So the 2010 World Series of Poker is down to its final table and the winner will be crowned the poker champion after the whole gang comes together for one final game in November. The biggest final table star is, of course, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi. And although the winner of this year's $50,000 Players Championship and contender for the player of the year award is not the chip leader, he's still considered to be one of the November Nine favorites.

Top News – Annette's WSOP Story and Poker in Baltics
This week in Top News we want to tell you all about the new PokerStars deal with the Spanish Basketball Federation to support the Spanish national basketball team for the whole year, also about the biggest poker event in the Baltics – the PokerStars Baltic festival in Tallin and to take a look at Annette Obrestad's performance in this year's World Series of Poker. Annette_15's WSOP debut was a long awaited event in the world of poker, however, the Norwegian was not able to keep up with the expectations and has yet to show the fans that she actually is one of the best young players in the world. Top News – Cada and Ivey on the Spot and EPT San Remo
So we have a bunch of poker news for you this week – the one before the last EPT event at San Remo is still running with only final table left to play. The tournament broke the EPT record of players in one event as it gathered 1,240 of them, however, some of the poker celebs including Greenstein and Eastgate made it in the last minute after a 20-hour bus ride from London. Yes, it was Eyjafjallajökull's fault.
