There were players at final tables who had done well in previous events, and then there was g0lfa. After having won Event 18, the online pro was at it again to claim a victory in Event 29. g0lfa became the only player to claim two bracelets at the 2009 WCOOP and the only one likely to accomplish such a difficult feat. Many others claimed their first bracelets, though, and all of the results are listed here.

Many of its regular events are still on hiatus, specifically on PokerStars, because of the WCOOP, but others were missing from the lineup as well. The $200K Guarantee on UltimateBet was not listed, nor was the $22 Double Deuce tournament on Full Tilt. But all of this put Full Tilt Poker at the top of the guarantee game for the day, as its $750K Guarantee offered the biggest prize pool and highest top prize.
